Our Southmost office sits at 2950 Southmost Blvd, Suite 103, just a short drive from Southmost Park and the Gateway International Bridge in 78521. Families from Las Prietas, Cameron Park, and the neighborhoods off Boca Chica Blvd bring kids in for braces consults, and it's common to hear Spanish and English bouncing between the front desk and the treatment chairs. Southmost is a tight-knit, bilingual corner of Brownsville — many of our ortho patients are siblings getting treated together, or parents coordinating appointments around Porter Early College High and Perkins Middle School schedules. Because Southmost Blvd runs straight to the International Boulevard corridor, we see a lot of cross-border families who need appointment times that work around school pickup and shift work at the Port. Orthodontic care here is less about cosmetics and more about catching crowding and crossbite issues early, while kids are still in mixed dentition.

Where is your Southmost orthodontics office and how do I find the entrance?

We're at 2950 Southmost Blvd, Suite 103, Brownsville, TX 78521 — Suite 103 is on the ground level of the strip, with parking directly in front of the door. Call us at (956) 413-7537 if you need directions from Boca Chica or the 802 Loop.

Can all three of my kids get their braces adjustments on the same Saturday?

Yes — our Saturday hours are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and we routinely block sibling adjustments back-to-back so one parent isn't doing three separate trips. Call ahead so we can stack the chairs for you.

Do you take my PPO, and will the ortho benefit be verified before my consult?

We run benefits verification before your first records appointment, so you'll know the in-network status of your plan's orthodontic rider and any lifetime max remaining before you sit down with Dr. Merta. If something isn't covered, we tell you before the banding appointment, not after.

What are your weekday hours if a bracket breaks after school?

Monday through Friday we're open 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, so after-school bracket repairs and wire pokes are almost always same-day. Closed Sundays.
