How do clear aligners work?
You wear a series of custom-made clear trays that gradually shift your teeth. Each set is worn for 1-2 weeks before moving to the next. It's like braces, but invisible and removable.
Can clear aligners fix my bite, not just straighten teeth?
Yes! Modern clear aligners can treat most bite issues including overbite, underbite, crossbite, and open bite. Complex cases may still need traditional braces - we'll advise what's best for you.
How often do I need to wear my aligners?
20-22 hours per day for best results. Remove only for eating, drinking (except water), and brushing. Less wear time = longer treatment. Consistency is key!
Will people notice I'm wearing aligners?
Most people won't notice unless you tell them! Clear aligners are virtually invisible. Some patients have attachments (small tooth-colored bumps) that help with movement - these are also hard to see.
What if I lose or break an aligner?
Call us immediately. Depending on where you are in treatment, you may wear the previous aligner or move to the next one. We can order replacements, but acting quickly prevents delays.
